Moderately strong M4.0 solar flare erupts from geoeffective Region 2975

A moderately-strong solar flare measuring M4.0 erupted from geoeffective Active Region 2975 at 11:29 UTC on March 28, 2022. The event started at 10:58 UTC and ended at 11:45.

The event was associated with a Type II Radio Emission at 11:23 UTC, with an estimated velocity of 1 259 km/s. Type II emissions occur in association with eruptions on the Sun and typically indicate a coronal mass ejection is associated with a flare event.

Additionally, a Type IV Radio Emission was registered at 11:37 UTC. Type IV emissions occur in association with major eruptions on the Sun and are typically associated with strong coronal mass ejections and solar radiation storms.

“EUV darkening was observed at 11:24 UTC in SUVI 195 imagery with the M4 flare suggesting a likely CME,” SWPC forecasters said at 12:30 UTC. “Analysis will be conducted as coronagraph imagery becomes available.”

The responsible region 2975 is located at the center of the solar disk, suggesting the CME generated by the flare is Earth-directed. The estimated time of arrival is March 30/31.

  1. Anyone have a better idea as to when the pole flip will happen? And how sure are we on our star is soon to nova? I see all the evidence as such and would like to think neighboring stars would let us know a better timeline but how would one calculate time between novas by viewing or somehow tuning into their electrical frequencies to calculate their distance from us and then some how calculate the light years to the next nova. I thought they had pics of neighboring stars goingnova but I dont trust nasa or anything .gov. Them bastards keep the public unaware to keep paying taxes to pay for projects to save the worst kinds of people to represent our specie. Politicians, corrupt bureaucrats, dishonorable judges who lack integrity, thirst for conflict military personnel, people who believe in de population threw genocide and false pretense, I mean the list goes on. I hope their paid by tax payers bunkers or similar gets covered in miles of ice trapping them for as long as needed to deplete their supplies. And im off topic. Lol I think vogt or this page said 2047 or something. Others say a year max. It be nice to know theres gotta be something concrete somEwhere.

  2. When Earth’s magnetic field is strong and stable, such moderately strong solar flare cannot cause any notable effect on Earth’s magnetic field. However, when Earth’s magnetic field is in a declining state due to rapid shifting like in the current situation, then surely even moderately strong solar flare, like this one can cause serious impact on Earth’s magnetic field especially if it is Earth directed. Thus, if this solar flare, is Earth directed then watch for large earthquake or explosive volcanic eruption within the next 48-72 hours
