Threats for severe thunderstorms and flash flooding will follow the track of a strong storm moving across the Southern states late this week, NWS warned.

These threats extend across the Lower Mississippi Valley through the Southeast through Thursday, April 23.

A few strong tornadoes are possible across these areas, in addition to damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain.
