Tornado between Pézenas and Clermont-l’Hérault, France

A tornado was reported between Pézenas and Clermont-l’Hérault, southern France on October 20, 2019. The department of Hérault was placed on yellow alert following thunderstorms and heavy winds.

The tornado knocked down trees and damaged several roofs, and was captured on video. 

A caravan was torn off a vehicle pulling it and was projected onto the other side of the road. The twister then headed to the Gard.

Hérault firefighters intervened at Vias, Florensac, Pezenas, Paulhan, Aspiran, Clermont-l’Hérault and Saint-Guilhem, reports said.
