Bright meteor event over southern Spain

This amazing meteor overflew the south of Spain at 02:05 UTC on September 7, 2019 (04:05 LT).

It was generated by a rock from an asteroid that hit the atmosphere at about 120 000 km/h.

It began at an altitude of about 84 km (52 miles) over the region of Murcia and ended at a height of around 29 km (18 miles) over Almería. 

The event was recorded in the framework of the SMART project, operated by the Southwestern Europe Meteor Network (SWEMN), from the meteor-observing stations located at Calar Alto (Almería), La Hita (Toledo), La Sagra (Granada), and Sevilla.
