Surprise snowstorm leaves 30 people with hypothermia, France
At least 30 people were treated for hypothermia in France over the weekend after they were caught in what media described as 'surprising' and 'unexpected' snowstorm.
As reported by the AFP, around 10 000 people were attending unauthorized Teknival 2019 festival in central Creuse region, France when temperatures dropped to -3 °C (27 °F) overnight May 4 to 5.
Around 30 people were treated for hypothermia and 2 were taken to hospital, local officials told the agency.

Extremely low temperatures for the time of year were followed by 2 – 3 cm (0.8 – 1.2 inches) of snow.
Teknival is a multi-day, unauthorized electronic music festival held each year at a secret location.
Snow in summer, free party on a secret location, sure why not… warm clothes, fire and party on.
