A daylight fireball streaked through the sky over North and South Carolina at around 10:50 UTC (06:50 on April 4, 2019. The event lasted up to 10 seconds.

The American Meteor Society (AMS) received 775 reports by 07:44 UTC, April 5. The event was seen from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North and South Carolina and Virginia.
