Shallow M6.1 earthquake hits near Tanaga Volcano, Alaska

A strong and shallow earthquake registered by the USGS as M6.1 hit near Tanaga Volcano, Alaska at 18:47 UTC on January 5, 2019. The agency is reporting a depth of 19.1 km (11.8 miles). EMSC is reporting M6.1 at a depth of 40 km (24.8 miles).

The epicenter was located 54 km (33 miles) WSW of Tanaga Volcano, Alaska, 129.5 km (80.5 miles) WSW of Adak (population 332), Alaska and 1 466 km (911 miles) ESE of Klyuchi, Russia.

There are no people living within 100 km (62 miles).

A tsunami is not expected, NTWC in Palmer, AK said.

The USGS issued a green alert for shaking-related fatalities and economic losses. There is a low likelihood of casualties and damage.

    L’année 2018 vient de s’achever, les catastrophes naturelles ont constamment augmenté.
    alors que les catastrophes géologiques telles que les tremblements de terre, les volcans
    les éboulements, les glissements de terrain ce sont montrés particulièrement violent
    plusieurs lacs et rivières du monde entier ont disparu.
    le nombre de catastrophes liées au climat inondations côtières et vagues de tempête
    tempêtes apocalyptiques, vagues de chaleur, froid, cyclones, sécheresse et incendies
    ont considérablement augmenté. des événements météorologiques apocalyptiques
    étonnants se sont produit dans le monde entier.
    Une grande partie de l’activité autour du Cercle de feu s’est poursuivie
    et cela n’a pas été uniquement reflété par l’activité volcanique
    mais également par une série de puissants séismes d’une magnitude supérieure à 6 qui ont ébranlé l’Indonésie
    Dans le même temps des tourbillons de feu d’eau et de poussière sont apparu à des endroits très inhabituels.
    Des États-Unis à l’Europe, en passant par l’Inde, la Chine et l’Afrique, la plus grande menace venait
    des énormes et soudaines quantités de précipitations qui ont entraîné des terres, des maisons et des personnes.
    la planète fluctue encore et se déplace à un rythme alarmant. les prévisions pour 2019 sont dramatiques .
    les catastrophes naturelles vont continuer à augmenter. Une éruption volcanique cataclysmique est à redoutée
    provoquant des modifications majeures de la vie humaine sur la planète.
