Small asteroid 2018 HV flew past Earth at 0.4 LD

A newly discovered asteroid designated 2018 HV flew past Earth at 0.4 LD / 0.00104 AU (155 581 km / 96 674 miles) on April 22, 2018.
This object belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids. It was first observed at Mt. Lemmon Survey on April 21, just hours before its close approach.
2018 HV flew past Earth at 17:07 UTC on April 22 at a speed (relative to the Earth) of 29.58 km/s.
Its estimated diameter is between 4.7 and 11 m (15 -36 feet).

This is the 4th known asteroid to flyby Earth within 1 lunar distance this month and 29th since January 1.
