Historic flooding hits Louisiana: Aerial footage
A very slow-moving low pressure system dumped extreme amounts of rain to parts of central Gulf Coast states between August 4 and 13, 2016. By Friday, August 12, Louisiana was under historic flooding in which at least three people have lost their lives.
Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, declared a state of emergency, calling the floods "unprecedented" and "historic."
"This is certainly not over. The rain continues to fall in the areas that have been most impacted already. We don't know how wide the water is going to get in these areas," Edwards told a press conference on Saturday.
More than 1 000 personnel are mobilized and nearly 170 high-water vehicles tasked or staged to assist local, parish and state emergency officials with heavy flash flooding in St. Helena, Tangipahoa, Lafayette, Iberia, West Feliciana, East Baton Rouge and Livingston parishes.
By early Sunday, August 14, more than 1 000 people had to be rescued. Evacuations are still in progress as floodwaters in some areas are still rising.

What didn’t Chuck Todd of MSNBC mention this this week about Obama while president yet criticized Trump for playing golf and Dorian has hit the states as yet. When are these empty talking heads in the media going to be held accountable..for tearing America apart?
