A large landslide was captured on camera on March 18, 2016, as it buried a highway in Anhua County of China’s Hunan Province. Two days later, egg-sized hailstones hit Hunan's Chenzhou city.

Footage shot by a driver shows a landslide took place at 09:10 and continued for about a minute, blocking traffic and causing several vehicles to line up on the highway.

One of the witnesses told Chinese state media CCTV that drivers had stopped after noticing stones and other debris falling quickly down the hillside.

No casualties or vehicle damage have been reported.

  1. Without things getting worse, we on the planet, are well warned.. Hailstorms and rain is associated with volcanic dust in the atmosphere, extreme temperature drop is also synonymous with volcanic dust cover. We are going into a cool period, if only due to this. Better move to Brazil if you need to grow tomatoes.
