Large fireball accompanied by two explosions reported over Thailand
A large, bright fireball was observed by hundreds of people over northern Bangkok, Thailand around 01:41 UTC (08:41 local time) on September 7, 2015.
Bangkok residents say they didn't hear any sound associated with the fireball, but people from the Sisawat district in Kanchanaburi province, some 200 km (124 miles) from Bangkok, also witnessed the event and they say it was accompanied by a thunderous explosion.
Some even heard two explosions, which would suggest the meteor managed to reach the ground. Officials dispatched a team of rescue workers to the possible crash site.

I saw a few small white flashes two nights ago. I thought I was seeing things, but the 4th and 5th ones confirmed it wasn’t my imagination. (Melbourne, Australia).
