Another strong M-class solar flare again – M5.3 from Region 1515 + M2.3
It does not seem to stop. Region 1515 just produced another solar flare measuring M5.3. The event started 9:47, peaked 9:55 at M5.3 and ended 9:57 UTC on July 4, 2012.
Potential Impacts: Area of impact centered primarily on sub-solar point on the sunlit side of Earth. Radio – Limited blackout of HF (high frequency) radio communication for tens of minutes.
This is a second M-class solar flare so far today. There is 70% chance for another M-class solar flare and 10% chance for X-class.
This event sent out big CME, luckily it was not Earth directed.
