Deadly mysterious disease claiming victims in Vietnam
Vietnam has asked international health experts to help investigate a mystery illness that has killed 19 people and sickened 171 others in an impoverished district in central Vietnam. Most of the patients are from Ba Dien village in Ba To. It is one of the poorest districts in the province and home to many from the Hre ethnic minority.
The infection has mostly affected children and young people and it begins with a high fever, loss of appetite and a rash that covers the hands and feet. Patients who are not treated early can develop liver problems and eventually face multi-organ failure. Nearly 100 people remain hospitalized, including 10 in critical condition. Patients with milder symptoms are being treated at home. The illness responds well to treatment if detected early, but 29 patients have been reinfected.
The virus spreads through direct contact with an infected person’s oral discharges or saliva, the fluid from burst blisters or the stool of infected persons. The Red Cross mission in Vietnam reports the disease has already infected over 28,000 children this year, which is more than 10 times the number of infected children in the same period last year.
A Health Ministry spokesperson was reported as saying, “the patterns of incidence of HFMD are associated with the circulating enteroviruses, host susceptibility and social dynamics of the preschool population“. It is hoped that in the coming time, a control over the spread of the disease would be established. Parents have been advised to take care of their children and to make sure that their children doesn’t come in contact with kids affected with hand, foot and mouth disease. The Ministry of Health sent a team of health officials to the area earlier this month, but they were unable to determine the cause of the illness. The ministry has since asked the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help investigate.
A WHO spokesman said the Geneva-based body hadn’t yet received the request from Vietnam. The ailment was first detected last April, but the number of cases had died down by October. A fresh spate of infections started last month, with 68 cases and eight deaths reported between March 27 and April 5.

Could this be a splitting and MUTATION of Agent Orange contamination. Where the Chemical is changing into something more deadly. I read a report about the LIES OF Agent Orange. The US GOVT says agent orange looses all its effects after so many days. Well In Thailand At Bo Fai Airport Construction people in 1998 got deadly sick from working on a crack below the runway.

They dug up Agent Orange buried back in the 60’s and was still as deadly and strong as the day it was buried. Thailand and the US Govt sealed this up in a secret system. Since the Vietnam war there was a forestry agent testing the waters fish and and people maybe I don’t know about people & animals from Thailand to Vietnam and say the countries are swimming in Agent orange it is everywhere.I submitted the foresters report that was in the news to the DEPT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS TO HELP OTHER MILITARY VETERANS TO GET DISABILITY. Chemicals did not deteriorate . You can thank Monsanto Dow and maybe others someplace down the line A Vietnam veteran suffering the effects of Agent Orange related diseases. Mark in the USA.

Every time a ‘mystery disease’ shows up, I wonder if The Purge has begun…
You see, about ten years ago I was reading an (Establishment) newspaper, and noticed two widely-separated aricles: one stated that the government of the First World (the Bilderbergers) had decided that tobacco addiction was a ‘plague’ that needed to be ‘stamped out’. The other article quietly stated that sevral govts (U.S., Can, G.B., etc.) were ‘prepared’ to ‘substantially assist’ tobacco cos in refocusing their ops in the Third World, in exch. for not making a fuss about new anti-smoking initiatives (pack-pics, etc.)
I mentioned this to an oil-exec I knew at the time, and he just smiled and said, ‘It’s an intelligence test, dude!’
So, I quit. And, about once a year since, I’ve heard a rumour about how that’s the Plan: thin the herd down to a sustainable 4-5 billion or so with an ‘engineered’ disease that only affects smokers–which hs the advantage that it also ups the species-I.Q. by about 20% or so.
I sure hope that’s just more lunacy from the foil-beanie brigade… because, as a non-smoker, I’d haveta help clean up the mess.
What we REALLY need, is a disease (besides Greed) that only kills the rich…
May the cure be found soon for this one, that looks even more uncomfortable than psoriasis…

The fever is a sign of an infection and usually a virus. This type of virus attacks the immune and circulatory system since the loss of appetite and eventual liver failure. I think this virus travels in the blood and can be seen by taking a blood sample.
Unknown viruses develop through evolution for drug tolerances or in poor districts from rats and other animals that can carry viruses that can transfer to humans. Since its affecting mainly the children I think the source came from a daycare or school that is infested with rats or mice since they are more likely to carry a disease.
The virus could of transfered from rat or mice droppings in the food or water supply
